Activity summary
Filipe Alves is a post-doctoral fellow with interests in the marine ecology of insular ecosystems, with a focus on biogeography, population ecology, ecophysiology, trophic ecology, telemetry and distributional patterns, especially of cetaceans. He has participated in >15 international projects, including as project manager (since 2014), publishes regularly in indexed journals, plays as reviewer for high-tier journals, and acts as lecturer at the University of Madeira since 2010.
