Activity summary

Trophic ecology as an indicator of gulls’ interaction with human activities. The study main goal is to assess a possible variation in diet of several yellow-legged gulls’ populations and to understand how fisheries impact in these birds’ diet, in order to predict future changes in diet caused by the new fish discards policy. The techniques used are pellets and stable isotopes analysis.
