Activity summary
She is developing her PhD in the field of conservation and fisheries management of sea lamprey (P. marinus) in mainland Portugal. Her focus is to evaluate the genetic profiles of individuals targeted by fisheries, using whole genome sequencing (WGS), and understand their evolutionary potential, in a climate change context. In addition, she is investigating the main hosts of this species at sea, using DNA metabarcoding.
