Marta Neves holds a Ph degree in Biotechnology - specialization in Chemistry. She was a lecturer of Biochemistry, Organic and Analytical Chemistry at UCP-School of Biotechnology (1999-2011) and at ESTM of Polytechnic of Leiria (2015-present). Since 2017, she is a researcher of MARE-Polytechnic of Leiria and her research interests include characterization of food, plants and marine species, with an emphasis on fat oxidative stability, bioactivity, proximal composition, and fatty acid profile.
