Activity summary

Catarina is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ciências ULisboa (ERC project PLAnT) and an integrated member of MARE-ULisboa/ARNET. She holds a PhD in Biology since 2023, having been involved on multiple national/international projects and co-founded an NGO in Cabo Verde. Currently focusing on Antarctica and the Southern Ocean, focusing on integrating science and human perspectives to support sustainable decision-making, she has over a decade of research on climate change impacts on marine life.
