Activity summary

Research in biology and ecology of marine macroalgae; management, cultivation of commercial species, and novel biotechnological applications. Coordinator/ researcher in national and international R&D&I projects. Marine and estuarine flora expert, monitoring and ecological quality assessment for EU Water Framework and Marine Strategy Directives and other environmental monitoring studies. Extensive teaching experience in phycology and algal biotechnology at various levels of advanced studies.
