I am a marine biologist and currently a PhD fellow at MARE and AIMM Portugal. I work towards the conservation of marine megafauna, particularly sea turtles and cetaceans (dolphins and whales). My primary research interests include trophic and spatio-temporal ecology, population dynamics, ecological modelling and climate change-related issues. Additionally, my work also focuses on the anthropogenic pressures on top predator populations, mainly whale-watching activities and fisheries.
