Activity summary

Participated in more than 50 scientific projects and around 40 applied studies. Author of 5 books, 5 book chapters and more than 80 articles in international journals. Participated in the elaboration of: National Water Plan; National Strategy for the Conservation of Nature and Biodiversity; and Management Plan for the Eel in Portugal; and in the implementation of the Water Framework Directive in Portugal. Is Strategic Advisor of the Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve. Assistant Professor in FCUL.
