Activity summary

PhD in Biology and is currently a Research Scientist at MARE-Polytechnic of Leiria. Her scientific interests are related to the study of toxicological mechanisms, pathways and chemical modes of action using “omic” technologies and other biomarker tools, applied to the fields of marine ecology and ecotoxicology. Her main research focus has been to study the ecological consequences of global changes on marine life, especially on marine megafauna, to contribute for better conservation measures.
