Activity summary

I am a marine ecologist based at the Madeira unit of MARE-Marine and Environmental Research Center. I develop my research activities mainly in coastal systems, particularly studying the effects of human impacts on the ecological processes of marine benthic communities. I have a well-established theoretical knowledge in marine ecology, especially in biological invasions, climate change effects and biotic interactions.
