Rui Rosa awarded with Scientific Awards Ceremony of the University of Lisbon/Caixa Geral de Depósitos

On the 28th of November at 5.30 pm, it will be the 2022 Scientific Awards Ceremony of the University of Lisbon/Caixa Geral de Depósitos, and will take place in the Main Hall of the Rectory of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa). Among the winners is MARE researcher Rui Rosa, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon.

His research and the group he leads aims to understand the impact of climate change on the Ocean, from cells to ecosystems, using a multidisciplinary and holistic approach that includes study in the areas of Marine Physiology, Marine Ecology, Comparative Biochemistry, Modeling and Climate Education .

Note that these awards aim to reward scientific research activity and encourage the practice of publication in international journals of recognized quality, corresponding to a subsidy for research in the amount of €6,500.
