The MarRISK project is oriented towards the development of adaptation strategies, prevention measures and risk management on climate change scenarios for the coastal areas of the north of Portugal and in Galiza, Spain. The aim of the project is to evaluate the most important coastal risks in climate change scenarios and to improve the adaptation to these risks while enhancing cooperation, ensuring smart and sustainable growth. Applications, services, analyses, monitoring and surveillance will be developed to ensure a coordinated and appropriate response in a cross-border context, by providing public administrations, companies and society in general the tools to support decision-making.
