Polychaetes in Aquaculture: from research to commercial application

On November 3, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., MARE and the Department of Marine and Environmental Technologies at ESTSetúbal/IPS will host an online lecture on the topic “Polychaetes in Aquaculture: From Research to Commercial Application.” 

The session will feature Dr. Pedro Moreira, Researcher at MARE – Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, who will present his experience and research findings on the role of polychaetes in aquaculture and their potential for commercial exploitation.

The initiative is organized by MARE professor and researcher Pedro Félix and is aimed at students of the Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Marine Technologies, the Master's Degree in Aquaculture Engineering and Management, as well as anyone interested in the subject.
