Marta Martins at the Blue Futures Conference: Addressing Marine Pollution and Solutions

MARE and ARNET researcher, Marta Martins will participate in the Blue Futures Conference, taking place on 27 February at NOVA School of Business and Economics, in Carcavelos.

The Blue Futures Conference brings together students, scientists, policymakers, and practitioners to foster dialogue on ocean stewardship, regenerative blue economy pathways, and sustainable solutions for marine challenges.

Marta will speak on marine pollution and solutions, presenting scientific insights into pollution sources and impacts on marine ecosystems while highlighting practical mitigation strategies and evidence-based approaches to prevention. Her contribution will reinforce the importance of interdisciplinary research and collaborative action in protecting ocean health.
