Resumo da atividade

Ecotoxicology and Environmental Risk Assessment. Research activity aims at disclosing the toxic interaction effects of mixtures of environmental contaminants (e.g. PAH, EDCs, micro and nanoplastics) on aquatic organisms, to improve the basis of ERA strategies and the environmental sustainability. Employs in vivo and in vitro bioassays with marine fish species and uses multiple-level approach, including ‘omics’ analysis, genotoxicity, cyto- and histopathology, immunoassays and GC-MS analysis.
