"Estimulação táctil corporal: um enriquecimento sensorial para melhorar o bem-estar dos peixes"

MARE invites the entire academic and scientific community to attend the lecture “Tactile body stimulation: sensory enrichment to improve fish welfare,” presented by Eliane Gonçalves de Freitas, Associate Professor of Animal Behavior in the Department of Biological Sciences and at the Aquaculture Center at UNESP – Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (São José do Rio Preto, SP, Brazil).
 
In this lecture, the researcher will discuss how tactile stimulation can function as a sensory enrichment strategy to promote fish welfare in controlled environments, with important implications for aquaculture and conservation. This event is organized by the BIG – Biological Invasions Group at MARE and ARNET – Aquatic Research Network.
