Sea Seminar: “European PLAnT Project: Planning for Sustainable Use of the Antarctic Ocean”

MARE invites the entire academic community and interested members of the public to attend the next Sea Seminar conference, which will take place on October 27, 2025 (Monday), at 3:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the Lisbon Geographical Society (Rua das Portas de Santo Antão, 100, Lisbon) and also online. 

The session will be dedicated to the theme “European PLAnT Project: Planning for Sustainable Use of the Antarctic Ocean,” with the participation of postdoctoral researchers Catarina Pereira Santos and Francisco Oliveira Borges from MARE-ULisboa/ARNET, and moderated by Prof. Ricardo Perdiz de Melo, also from MARE-ULisboa/ARNET.

This conference is part of the 6th cycle of the Sea Seminar, organized by the Ocean Geography Section of the Lisbon Geographical Society, focusing on Strategy, Science, and Sustainability.
