The IMMR '16 is an international congress planned to communicate novel scientific knowledge on marine resources and research towards the sustainability of our planet.

All abstracts will be given a DOI and will be published in the Frontiers in Marine Science Journal.

Frontiers in Marine Science is an interdisciplinary open-access journal that publishes research advancing our understanding of all aspects of the environment, biology, ecosystem functioning and human interactions with the oceans. The aim is to communicate breakthroughs in marine science through the rapid, rigorous and effective open-access publishing mechanism of the Frontiers In journal series.

Aquatic Living Resources has accepted to host a special issue with papers (oral/poster) presented at IMMR’16 following full paper submission and peer review.

The scientific programme places under the spotlight innovative research in:

  • Aquaculture
  • Biodiversity, Conservation and Coastal Management
  • Blue Biotech
  • Fisheries and Management
  • Oceanography and Maritime Technology
  • Seafood Technology

During these two days several international keynote speakers will share state-of-the-art knowledge on the congress main topics, and senior and young researchers will communicate their latest scientific innovations, discoveries and practices on important subjects in the multidisciplinary field of marine research.
