Expo Fish 2025

Docapesca, with institutional sponsorship from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, will organize the 5th edition of EXPO FISH PORTUGAL, a virtual space for promoting Portuguese fish and activities related to the sea. MARE will participate as an exhibitor at the event.

Expo Fish Portugal will be in a hybrid format, in person and broadcast via livestreaming, with speakers from the fishing sector, industry, distribution, scientific research, and innovation. It will take place on December 2 and 3.

This year, with institutional sponsorship from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Docapesca – Portos e Lotas, S.A. launched the 4th edition of the Expo Fish Portugal Innovation Award, which aims to reward the best projects and ideas in the field of innovation and research related to the seafood, fisheries, and aquaculture sectors.

The application phase runs until October 31, 2025, and three projects – one per category – will be awarded cash prizes of €5,000. All individuals, students, teachers, or researchers in higher education, as well as legal entities, start-ups, or research centers, are eligible to apply for the award.
