Projeto Emc2 - Exposição de Desenhos dos Alunos de Almancil sobre as camarinhas da zona do Ancão

The Emc2 project – ‘Explorar Matos de Camarinha da Costa’ – is an educational project about the camarinhas bushes found in coastal areas of Portugal, which aims to fill gaps in information about this plant that is endemic to the Iberian Peninsula.

As part of this project, an exhibition of drawings by students from the Almancil Primary School on the camarinhas in the Ancão area will be on display from September 16 to October 18, 2025, at the Almancil Municipal Library.

The project allows students (from the 1st and 2nd cycles) to participate in interpretive tours of the dune flora and carry out other activities described in the Activity Book.

The Emc2 Project Coordinator, M. Alexandra Abreu Lima (Researcher at MARE and INIAV, I.P.) would like to thank the teachers and educational community of Almancil for their participation, the Municipality of Loulé for its support, and the Ancão Forest Management Plan for its collaboration.
