1.º Fórum de Investigação no Oceano: A ciência do mar português na próxima década

UPDATED PROGRAMME

CESAM, CIIMAR, CCMAR, MARE and OKEANOS are organising the 1st Ocean Research Forum on 13 March at 10:00 am, in the Renato Araújo Amphitheatre, Rectorate Building, University of Aveiro. The theme of this edition is “Portuguese Marine Science in the Next Decade”.

The meeting aims to respond to the current context of the National Scientific and Technological System (SCTN), bringing together contributions from eight working groups. These contributions will result in a document to be submitted to the relevant authorities, presenting a joint vision on the main strategic lines and research priorities in Portugal in the field of the Ocean.

The event will feature institutional interventions by Salvador Malheiro, Secretary of State for Fisheries and the Sea, and Helena Canhão, Secretary of State for Science and Innovation.
