Diana M. Matos

I am a Biologist and Ecologist with expertise in avian species ecology, I focus on how human activities disrupt natural systems. My goal is to apply this understanding to conservation planning. Over the last seven years, I have focused on tropical seabirds in the Cabo Verde archipelago, contributing to research on seabirds' distribution, abundance, foraging, and trophic ecology. In my PhD focusing on seabird contamination (e.g. plastic and chemical pollution) in a multi-level approach.
