Resumo da atividade

Main research activity: estuarine ecology, namely regarding the use of different estuarine habitats by fish species and communities. Recently, focus has been given to ecological modelling of estuarine fish populations, predictions of species richness variation patterns and species distributions in estuaries, at a multi-scale level.
