Phyto-Nap

The strategic plan aims to unravel the following research question: how have phytoplankton changed in the NAP under recent climate trends? To address this question, the overarching aim of this study is to assess the response of phytoplankton to climate trends in the NAP. This work plan will take advantage of an on-going project that will guarantee two berths aboard an oceanographic cruise on the NAP (INTERBIOTA). This will enable in-situ data sampling and access to all the necessary conditions for the implementation of the work plan.
