Orlando J. Luis is an assistant professor in the Department of Animal Biology of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, since 1989. With the funding of research contracts, the creation of a laboratory for experimental marine invertebrate cultures and the creation of a biochemistry laboratory specialized in chromatographic analysis (TLC, GLC and HPLC) were implemented at the Guia Maritime Laboratory, Cascais (FCUL). He is the author or co-author of 31 scientific publications
