Activity summary

Specialized in the ecology of marine phytoplankton, in particular in the identification of harmful algal species (HAB's) of the Portuguese coast, and with boarding experience and in the placement of oceanographic material, whether in sea campaigns or by diving. Within the framework of the projects AQUASADO, NEWCUMBER and NIPOGES, I contribute to the planning of field trips, to the supervision of phytoplankton samplings and to the identification and quantification of phytoplankton species.
