Activity summary

Sara Novais holds a PhD in Biology and is currently a Senior Researcher at MARE-Polytechnic of Leiria. Her scientific interests are related to the study of toxicological mechanisms, pathways and chemical modes of action using “omic” technologies and other biomarker tools, applied to the fields of marine ecology, ecotoxicology, aquaculture and biotechnology. She is involved in several national and international projects with both academia and industry and has authored or co-authored 89 papers.
