Activity summary

Biologist, Master in Animal Behavior and PhD in Biology. Associate Professor at ISPA, Director of the Degree in Biology and coordinator of the Laboratory of Evolutionary Genetics of the same institution. Began her research career with the study of the behavior and genetics of freshwater fish in Portugal, but has been extending the work to the evolutionary genetics (phylogeny and phylogeography) of aquatic organisms.
