Activity summary

Verónica uses field correlative and manipulative studies, lab studies and meta-analyses to understand how stream communities (macroinvertebrates and aquatic hyphomycetes) and processes (litter decomposition) respond to natural environmental heterogeneity and anthropogenic activities. She also carries out outreach activities and lectures courses on meta-analysis. She is vice-president of the Iberian Limnological Association and Associate Editor of the journals Hydrobiologia and Fuctional Ecology.
