PORTWIMS H2020 SUMMER SCHOOL [POSTPONED]

Due to restrictions relevant to COVID-19, the PORTWIMS summer school has been postponed until further notice. New dates will be announced in due course

 

 

WHAT IS IT?

A Summer School dedicated to enhance skills on blue entrepreneurship, held at the same time that the Lisbon United Nations Ocean Conference 2020. It is promoted by the H2020 PORTWIMS Project  supported by three highly prestigious institutions for marine research, technology transfer and blue entrepreneurship: The Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (Germany), the Plymouth Marine Laboratory (UK) and the Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (Portugal). The PORTWIMS Summer School counts also with the participations of keynote speakers from most relevant stakeholders in blue economy, from Venture Capital to PI and case studies of technology transfer. The PORTWIMS Summer School counts also with institutional support of the Direção Geral de Política do Mar - General Directorate of Marine Policy and the Lisbon University Rectory.
