Photo competition - Creation and Science

MARE and the School of Tourism and Marine Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria are promoting the "Creation and Science" photo competition to raise awareness of marine biodiversity through photography.

The competition is open to anyone with an interest in marine biodiversity, and aims to disseminate science and raise awareness of research in MARE's area of coverage, with an emphasis on marine resources, the blue economy, sustainability and ocean literacy, some of the European Commission's main focuses for the 2021/2022 period.

The competition is free to enter and will culminate in an exhibition of the three winning photographs at CETEMARES.
