Emc2 project joined the European Sustainable Development Week

Within Emc2 project ‘Exploring White Crowberry Coastal Habitats’, which is an ongoing environmental educational project about the endemic white crowberry plant -Corema album (L.) D. DON-, it was organized in 3rd October an outdoor visit to a coastal habitat, that engaged ca. 50 students, aged between 8-10 years old, with their teachers. They were able to learn about  the biology and ecology of the Iberian endemic white crowberry plant, at the mainland Portuguese coastal area of Torres Vedras. The initiative was co-organised by the EB1/JI Póvoa de Penafirme School, the ‘Torres Vedras Environmental Educational Centre’ and the Emc2 project, which is funded by the Grant FCT MARE – UIDB/04292/2020 to ARNET (Aquatic Research Network).
