Resumo da atividade

Physical oceanographer specialized in remote sensing, ocean colour, physical-biological coupling and ocean climate variability. I integrate data from satellites (e.g. ocean color, infrared, altimetry), in-situ (e.g. ARGO profiles) and models for various applications such as the study of interannual changes in ocean physics (e.g. vertical mixing, currents) and their impact on phytoplankton. I also maintain the global bio-optical in-situ database of the ESA OC-CCI project.
