Activity summary

Marine Biologist since 2008. Her Master thesis focused on fish behaviour and associations with rocky reef habitats. As a research fellow till 2017, she became a fish larvae identification expert, focused in larval development and in their spatial and temporal distribution patterns. She is currently an Environmental and Sustainability PhD student at FCT-UNL and her PhD thesis is focused on microplastics pollution in Portuguese waters and on the impacts of their ingestion in marine fish species.
