Activity summary

Joana Silva is master in Applied Biotechnology, currently, PhD student at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and Polytechnic of Leiria (MARE-IPLeiria). It works in the isolation of marine compounds from macroalgae and in the evaluation of biological activities, as neuroprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activity.
