Activity summary

Research areas focus on the methods development which promotes sustainable waste management strategies, waste hierarchy and circular economy. Methodologies like cycle assessment, material flow analysis, systems analysis and multi-criteria decision making to elaborate methods, as well other environmental informatics tools are applied to make research in solid waste management. The waste impact like the marine litter, its drivers and developing solutions for it in the light of circular economy.
